Healthy Keto Granola recipe
At The Voights House, we know how important a good healthy breakfast is when you are traveling. This is why we created a full made-to-order menu and guests can pretty much customize their breakfast to suit their dietary needs.
We eat Keto and therefore it is very easy for me to offer my guests a healthy carb and sugar-free alternative to most breakfast choices.
Today I would love to share my Keto granola recipe. So easy and so healthy! Watch the video here-

Here is the full recipe I use to create this yummy, healthy breakfast treat. But you can customize it to suit your dietary needs and preferences.
You can use any proportion and amounts of nuts and seeds. These are just the ones I enjoy most.
110g chopped Macadamia nuts
80g chopped Pecan pieces
80g Almond slices
60g Pumpkin seeds
25g Sunflower seeds
25g Chia seeds
25g Hemp hearts
80g shredded coconut
3 T Swerve sweetener or any other sweetener you prefer
1/2 t Cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
1/2 t Tumeric
1/2 t salt
2 egg whites
Mix all the nuts, seeds and shredded coconut together on a parchment-lined pan and bake in your oven at 250 F for about 10 minutes.

Watch your nuts carefully so that they do not burn. You can increase or decrease the time you roast your nuts to get that perfect golden brown and nutty flavor.

In a separate big bowl, mix together your sweetener, cinnamon, nutmeg, Tumeric, and salt.
Beat your egg whites in a separate bowl until they form soft peaks.
Once your nuts are roasted and cooled down, mix them in with your spices and sweetener.
Lastly, fold in your egg whites and softly mix all the ingredients together.
Spread your mixture thinly onto a parchment-lined pan and bake at 250 F for about 45 minutes or until hard.
Remove from the oven and let it cool down a bit and harden even more. Your granola will continue to harden as it cools.
Break into bite-sized pieces and store in an airtight container at room temperature.

You can enjoy this breakfast treat plain as a snack or with your favorite fruits and berries, yogurt, coconut or almond milk or even Kefir probiotic cultured milk. I love including a few sugar-free chocolate chips as well for an extra yummy treat.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do and feel free to comment with your favorite version or more ideas on how to enjoy this healthy treat.
